Meet Our Director, Cherina C

Cherina C is the Director of Pine Village Preschool Brookline. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she moved to the U.S. in 2014 and began her early childhood education journey the same year. Cherina joined Pine Village in 2016, teaching across all age groups—including BB-Kinder—before stepping into her leadership role.

She studied Child Psychology after realizing her original major, Accounting, wasn’t her true passion. “From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children—it’s always felt like home.” A proud mom to her son Jhostin, she loves spending time together playing basketball and board games. Cherina brings joy, warmth, and deep dedication to her center every day.
